Dr. Gabriel Lewullis – Team Doctor

Dr. Gabriel Lewullis is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic sports medicine and arthroscopy surgeon. He grew up in Allentown, PA and went to Central Catholic High School. He attended Princeton University where he was an all Ivy-League college basketball player. He then played basketball professionally overseas and in the United States. Dr. Lewullis completed his medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine. He was a resident at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. After residency, he went to fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, during which he was assistant team physician for the Boston Celtics and Harvard University. Following fellowship, Dr. Lewullis began private practice in Dover, DE where he was team physician for a Division I and III college as well as multiple high schools and sports programs. He also educated chief orthopaedic surgery residents from University of Pennsylvania. He has now returned to his hometown and serves at the Director of Sports Medicine for Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Dr. Lewullis specializes in both non-surgical and surgical conditions of the shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle , and hip as well as cartilage restoration or sports injuries

He is married with three boys. He enjoys playing basketball, golf and spending time with his children.
