Team Inks Multi-Year Partnership to Remain in the “Nest”

Allentown, PA (September 27, 2017) – The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks and the PPL Center, in coordination with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, announced a new multi-year extension for the team to play their home games in the state-of-the-art venue in downtown Allentown, which has served as the team’s home since 2015.

News from the announcement includes a unique partnership where the Lehigh Valley Phantoms wherein the Phantoms’ sales team will exclusively oversee the sales of Steelhawks’ tickets. Additionally, the National Arena League will be moving a 14-game schedule as opposed to 12 in 2017, which will allow Steelhawks fans seven regular season home contests each season.

PPL Center General Manager Gunnar Fox, who was integral in bringing Steelhawks Football to the PPL Center in 2015 said “We’re thrilled to be able to announce this extension with the Steelhawks. One of the major goals of PPL Center is to provide a diverse lineup of entertainment experiences that turn heads and make memories to the Lehigh Valley and the Steelhawks have been tremendous partners in providing exactly that. We’re looking forward to having their fans back in the PPL Center for several more years to come.”

Phantoms’ co-Owner Rob Brooks added “This is an exciting announcement for the Steelhawks, Phantoms, PPL Center and the Lehigh Valley community. Steelhawks season ticket packages are available now and can be purchased by calling the Phantoms Sales Department at 610-224-4625.  Season ticket holders from the 2017 season have first right of refusal to their current seats.  Plans start as low as $56 ($8 per game).  The National Arena League Schedule is due out in October.
